Want to make money blogging? Hundreds of thousands of people are doing exactly that, and you can too, provided you approach it in the right way. Let’s look at three vital secrets for success.

1. You Must Have the Right Content

Before you start your blog, work out who the audience will be, and what your audience wants to know. Be as precise as you can. Once you know who your audience is, you can choose a topic for your blog which will appeal to that audience.

This is where most new bloggers make a mistake. Once you’ve chosen your topic, do a search online and find out whether people are looking for information on your particular topic. If no one’s looking, no one will find your blog, so choose another topic.

In a nutshell, the right content for your blog is content for which people are actively searching.

2. Readers Must Be Able to Find Your Content

You’ve started your blog, and you’ve created ten posts. This is just a beginning. A-list blogs have many thousands of blog posts, and the top blogs have at least ten new posts every day.

Of course, this is a deluge of content, and as a single blogger, you can’t compete with it.

However, you need to take note of what the top blogs do. This means that you’ll need to create at least one new post every day, preferably more.

Why? Because readers must be able to find your content.

The first way they’ll find your content is via the RSS feed. Your feeds will be indexed within a month of you creating your blog. You can speed up this indexing by submitting your blog’s RSS feed to blog directories.

Remember however, that basically readers find your blog when you create new content: for new readers, post every day.

You will not only be financially free because of the income generated by your multiple blogs, but you will have more free time than you have ever had in your life. Imagine the quality time you will be able to spend with your family. You only get one life. Blogging to the Bank can help you make the most of it

The peeling of Apple’s iPod broke all the records of the digital world. Use of Internet had become THE necessity for youth. Therefore, in 2004, the big dogs of internet fashioned an amalgam of portable playlists and internet (known as podcasting) which was another terrific addition to the toolkit of Internet Marketing.

A podcast is your talking blog and users can subscribe to it through RSS feeds where they receive the podcasts automatically. You don’t have to own an IPod to create your podcast. In fact, it’s just an audio file that you record on your computer. However, it’s not as simple as it sounds. Creating a podcast is a tiring process. At first, you have to identify your niche and narrow it down. Then, you need to plan out your speech i.e. what all you’re going to talk about. Finally, you record your speech, maybe, a hundred times before you get an appealing podcast. After you have recorded the podcast, you have to host it just like you host your websites. The host looks for RSS feeds and get audience to listen to your recordings.

Though, the real question is: Are podcasts worth all this effort? I believe that they are the most effective marketing tools there have ever been. In an era of change within change, the voice has and will always have the deepest impact on people. By creating your podcasts, you have your very own online radio show where you can talk to people about anything relating you, your business or your corporation.

The use of internet is limited but when we talk about iPods, they can be used anytime, anywhere. Whether you’re working in your cubical or jogging in the park; you can listen to your IPod everywhere. Now, you can do the math and get an idea about how many people may “listen” to your talking blog. If you sound lively and energetic, you can easily gain your listener’s attention and they are more likely to make a purchase at your store or whatever action you are asking them for because they will eventually start falling for your product/service.

iTunes, the leading resource of podcasts, is becoming more popular each day. Millions of people search iTunes everyday looking for exactly what you offer. Moreover, there’s not much competition for your business on iTunes as it is on search engines because not many people are even acquainted with the term podcasting.

Your event doesn’t have to be quite as mad as the Brooklands slot car idea, but you could invite interesting people in your field down even for a buffet lunch. You could then interview and release the interviews over time in a series of podcasts. Alternatively you could attend an event in your specialty, with the organizers’ permission, and produce a series of recordings. You could do the recordings on the organizers’ behalf but mention your companies’ name at the beginning of the podcast. There’s so much potential if you know how to podcast and this new medium is very effective and can be a low-cost marketing activity

As a music producer and podcaster with a budget minded approach to digital home recording I’ve been looking for a collection of sound effects that don’t cost an arm and a leg.

The very first step is to make sure you can actually make the recording. Now for this article I am going to be talking about audio podcasts…because they really are easier…and you can get going and having success with them right away. So you need to have a microphone and a program for recording. Audacity is a free program that is really easy to use. There really isn’t any need to go buy software for this…just search for Audacity on Google-it’ll come up at sourceforge.net.

Next you have to have a way to host your podcast…just like you have to host a website. One of the free sites out there…and it is one of the largest…is podomatic. You have to join and set up an account in order to create your podcasts there, but it is free…and you get all kinds of cool stats. It’s pretty neat to see a world map and see wow, there’s somebody in India or Brazil listening to you podcast. What the host does is look after the RSS feeds and everything else.

Podomatic actually makes a podcast page for you…basically a blog…so you can send people to that page. You can have notes about your show, what your podcast titles are, who you are and what you are all about. Pretty cool. Within about 30 minutes…not including your actual talk time…you can have your podcast up and running.

Roger Kahn’s Everyday Noize, a compilation of 201 sound effects, is perfect for podcasters and home audio production studios on a shoestring budget. This collection will only set you back about $10. I’ve listened to every sound, and have used some for my own music and other audio productions. They are excellent quality. YouTubers will find these sound effect handy for their video productions as well.

Now you have your first podcast out of the way! That first one is always going to be the worst one…so get it over with! Each time you do a podcast you will learn more, get more comfortable and they will just get better and better. After you have done a couple you won’t even think about it-it really is that simple.

You are also going to want to use a pinging service, like ping-o-matic to ping your podcast after it is done. That just send out the RSS feed to all the different pinging or RSS and blog services to let them know you’ve updated your podcast.
