Create a blog

Professional blogging is a very new idea with a lot of potential for entrepreneurs who have insight, drive, and a basic understanding of today’s innovative web technology. The ranks of so-called pro bloggers are still quite small, and there are very few people who make their living entirely off of their blogs or let alone make money blogging. However, more and more people are learning to turn their blogs into money making tools. Pro bloggers continue to grow in number, but it is not easy to say for how long this would go on.

A lot of bloggers want to be a part of the professional world of blogging. Not many people would happily spend an hour or two of their day blogging without at least expecting they get some kind of reward for what they do. There are countless ways to make money with your blog, one common way is to sell advertising space through Google AdSense or to a company that wants it. However, there are very few people indeed who can make a comfortable living just by selling space on their blog sidebars.

Many of the people who read blogs are bloggers themselves, this is sometimes because since they are using blogging technology, they are interested to know what other bloggers are using. This is the reason why many people who actually succeed in the world of blogging are those who have spent all their time studying it, talking ahout it and writing about it. More than anything else, pro bloggers usually concentrate on blogging itself. A lot of pro bloggers make the topic of blogging the stunningly self-reflexive ongoing focus of their blogs.

The world of professional blogging is of course going to be much more difficult in the future than it already is. During the present day, pro bloggers who have the most attention and make the most money are those that are mostly concerned about the blogging world and are offering tips to amateur bloggers. However, as the kinds of people who regularly read blogs changes, and the demographics of bloggers expand and diversify as blogging software becomes more user friendly including blog security, not to mention the hundreds of guides and tips coming out nowadays like wordpress guide, it is very likely indeed that the world of pro blogging will begin to reflect these changes. It definitely isn’t going to be easy to know which blog is going to earn the most in about five to ten years time. The world of pro blogging is one of constant change and flux, which is part of what makes it so exciting.

Finding A Blogging Platform That Suits You

Create a blog

Choosing which blogging platform to use is one of the most important decisions that you can make as a blogger, whether you will be blogging for leisure or you plan to make money blogging. The right platform can make blogging a breeze, and the wrong platform can make blogging a chore. Since the program that you will be using is a major part of your blogging experience, you may want to spend some time and effort into it. Getting the right platform won’t be entirely easy, but with a little hardwork and research, the perfect blogging platform will just be waiting for you.

Weighing your priorities on ease of use over customization. Most highly customizable blogging platforms, like moveable type, are a bit more difficult to use than very automated platforms like wordpress, plus wordpress usually has wordpress guides that makes everything a breeze. If you are not too familiar with blogs and web technology, you may want to sacrifice a little of being able to create your own unique designs or fonts so you could find a program that won’t be too hard for you. However, if you happen to be experienced in web design, is an expert in html or javascript, you may be dissapointed at just how little capabilities user-friendly platforms have for you.

There is no such thing as a blogging platform that is objectively the best platform, because every blogger has unique needs. The blogging movement is very much about individuality, so it makes plenty of sense that there would be many different platforms available that are designed to meet the needs of different kinds of individuals undertaking different kinds of projects. Having this diversity is good news, since this tells you that you will definitely get the one you need.

On the other hand, since no two bloggers are looking for the same thing, searching for your blogging platform may not be all too easy. When you are reading reviews of different platforms, try to keep your priorities in mind and do your best to take into account the position that the reviewer is coming from~When you are studying reviews of different platforms, you may want to always remember your priorities and keep in mind as well the position the reviewer is coming from}~When you are studying the reviews of different platforms, keep your priorities in mind and do what you can to notice the position of the reviewer as well~When you are studying reviews of different platforms, you may want to always remember your priorities and keep in mind as well the position the reviewer is coming from}. For example, a negative review written by an accomplished software designer who complains that a popular platform is too limited in terms of tools and blog security may tell you that the platform in question is ideal for a beginning blogger. There is no such thing as the perfect platform for everybody, so instead of looking for the “best” platform, look for the best platform for your specific criteria.

Blogging About Current News

Create a blog

Blogging news stories as they unfold is one of the most exciting and controversial applications of technology that bloggers have discovered and one of the best ways to make money blogging. One thing that makes the blogosphere so active is the fact that it is possible to update a blog instantaneously, so the news on blogs tends to be more current than the news in the paper, or on television. Unlike the news you get on tv or the newspapers, the news that you get on blogs do not need to go through editors before it gets to the public. There are advantages and disadvantages to it.

One of the most popular cases of a news hitting a blog before the media is the terrorism attack that struck London in July 2005. As people are being evacuated from the subway car, a man took pictures from with his phone and within an hour they were up online. First-person accounts of the catastrophe began appearing on blogs soon after these photos appeared, and people all over the world learned about the events in London by reading the words and seeing the photos posted by bloggers.

Since these stories are being spread without the help of reporters, this makes the stories feel very urgent to people around the world. In the blogging sense, news will always come in a very personal context. This has the potential to be the beginning of an exciting new era of reporting, one that takes “New Journalism” to it’s logical next step by putting the power to shape how the news is written and read directly into the hands of the public.

Many bloggers and fans of the blogging believe that this way of getting news is a good democratic thing. By decentralizing the control of news, blogs allow more voices to enter the field of debate about important current events. However, many people are adamantly opposed to the use of blogs as news outlets, and there are plenty of good arguments on this side of the debate. Unlike newspapers or television stations, few blogs have fact- checkers let alone blog security, and there is little attention paid to journalistic accountability on many blogs. This can lead to the rapid spread of misinformation, and more than one falsehood has taken the blogosphere by storm. The questions about whether blogging news as it happens is ethical or not are very complicated, but no matter where you stand on the topic of current events blogs you are almost sure to agree that this movement has the potential to revolutionize how modern people get their news.

Wordpress guide

SInce blogging is among the Internet activities that can really bring you some money and a lot of people are now turning to it as a source of income, it should not come as a surprise if you see a lot of blogs being published nowadays.

However, one must realize that not everyone can become a millionaire by merely blogging. The problem is not really about one’s ability to write. Actually one does not have to be the greatest writer before he can start blogging. The real reason why one fail at blogging as regards to making money is from the inability to know what to do.

There are so many tutorials that give away tips on getting hefty amounts of blogging money. The tips are of course very helpful. However, what these tutorials do not tell people are the reasons on why a blog with potential for moneymaking will fail.

Learning the things that will contribute to your failure is as important as knowing the things that will keep you moving. Here are some of the things that you should avoid so that you will be able to establish a solid foundation if you really want to make money blogging.

First, avoid blogging about random topics. There are so many blogs out there that seem like smorgasbords of whatnots, and although some of them may bring some interest, majority of them are not capable of producing the blogging income that you are looking for. To avoid making your moneymaking blog suffer, whenever you feel the urge to talk about various matters, you should post those entries in your personal blog.

Second, avoid marketing directly. This is where most bloggers fail. No matter how good some of them may be in writing, their efforts will not push through if their blogs sound like advertisements. Blogging is not merely pitching sales because a blog is not a cyber marketplace. What most people are looking for are a blogger’s opinions don’t worry about people who are going to steal your ideas if that is what you are afraid of you can always protect your opinion’s or the things you write with blog security. Try to use your skills as a writer and a blogger without having any biases or prejudices as regards to the products that you are promoting so it will be of value.

Third, avoid placing advertisements in your blog that are of no relevance to your posts. Whatever ads you are intending to post on your blog, verify that you can control the things that they display. In addition to that, i won't be so bad if you want to post ads that have some visual appeal.

Fourth, avoid blogging alone. What this means is that you have to take part in a community that fosters your interests. These could be blogospheres and various online forums. If you participate and contribute to these social circles, then you will be able to draw more attention to people. More people means more traffic, and traffic is something that you will really want to have in your blog.

Blogging income does not come around easily. In your blog there should always be an element of freshness. You can always use PLR contents if you run out of creative juices because remember if you are able to update your blog as often as possible with a dose of patience and determination, then time would come that you will receive big bucks with your blogging efforts.

Tips to Stand out from the Rest of the Bloggers

March 2nd, 2010

Wordpress Guide

If you are seriously looking to make money blogging, then you’ve got a long road ahead of you – and it’s going to be extremely crowded.

Due to the large number of laid-off workers looking for alternative ways to make some money, making money off the internet is quickly become an 'in' thing. You must make your blog stand out from the rest of the competition

Offer a unique twist
One thing that you can do to stand out from the crowd is to let your creative juices flow from you.

Coming up with something unique in an area so saturated with information, ‘making money off the Internet’ for example, is not as hard as it sounds. Simply observe the works of your competition, and see what they have to offer, then add a unique twist to the information you'll be presenting.

You can use a lot of concepts as a springboard for your unique twist: location, target audience, varying perspectives and even your unique way of presenting information (ala the “Daily Show”) could all work to help you stand out from the rest of the world.

Cultivate your own style
A blog is a personal thing, which is why it helps to cultivate your own ‘style’ of presenting information. Now there are resources that can help get you started like articles, Wordpress guide, which can be found easily on the internet if you happen to feel yourself fumbling around with the idea of blogging.

Unlike newspapers and magazines, blogs add more of a personal touch to them. True, you could present information like a magazine, but don’t expect people to warm up to your blog if you don’t change your ways soon. Cold, impersonal blotches of text are no exactly blog material, after all.

Toss what you have to offer with a distinct flavor you can call your own, and you’ll be able to stick your head out from the rest of the competition.

Attractive but readable
You could make use of a little art in every blog, to make sure that people will enjoy what you have to offer.

Eye candy is an essential factor to succeed in the world of blogging, or anything else on the Internet for that matter. When it comes to graphic designs and good outlining, even the most substantial of texts will benefit greatly from a little spit and polish. Invest a little time and effort to study up on coding and inserting graphics into your blog, and you should make it a lot more attractive than some of the blander, more generic pieces out there.

Overdoing things can become a problem. Too much eye candy will distract the reader’s eyes, and can sometimes hamper readability. Find an example? You'll get the urge to scratch your eyes out in frustration by going to some random guy or gal’s MySpace or Friendster account.

Offer a different twistcreate your own style, and make your blog eye-catching but still readable. These three things are pretty simple things, but they will definitely work wonders to help your blog float up from the ocean of competitors you’ll be facing in the world of pro blogging. Also make a note to not be afraid to always look around for ways to improve your blog, in contents, the way it looks, blog security, and writing skills. To achieve success in anything, there has to be effort.
